RSPCA is Victoria’s best-known and most respected animal welfare organisation.  Working collaboratively with the community, RSPCA is the leading voice for animal welfare, provides care for Victoria’s most vulnerable animals and through community outreach programs works to prevent animal cruelty and neglect before it happens. All this is done in order to achieve RSPCA’s vision of “ending cruelty to all animals”.

The Head of Commercial Enterprises, a newly created role, will be responsible for the growth and sustainability of RSPCA Victoria through effective tactics that enhance the profitability and impact of the organisation’s commercial enterprises and other products/services, delivering long-term sustainable income generation. This role will help to embed a commercial mindset across the organisation and develop products and services that enhance the organisation’s profitability and advance our strategic goals.

To be considered for this role you will have significant experience in senior leadership roles overseeing diverse teams across multiple functions.  You will demonstrate an ability to think creatively, enthusiastically engaging across RSPCA Victoria to develop and implement tactics that will positively impact the organisation’s profitability. A proven track record in building credible and trusting relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, an expert knowledge of legislation and relevant tertiary qualifications are essential. Previous experience in a Not-for-Profit will be favourably considered, but not essential.
